I am a Northern California based artist and work primarily in oil on canvas, generally using my own photos for reference material.
I briefly attended the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland during the mid eighties, but am pretty much self taught.

My work so far has been in a realistic style, with a particular interest in light and atmosphere in urban settings.
Lately I have become very interested in abstract work and have also been making experiments in that direction.

I was represented by the SFMOMA Artists Gallery at Fort Mason, San Francisco from 2001 until their closure a few years ago.
I am not currently affiliated with any gallery.
